It's interesting how this hotel promotes their rooms, yet I didn't get the lovely kitchenette, just a kettle and glasses. The cleaning staff seems to require personal invitations to do their job. Begging shouldn't be a requirement. I nearly wanted to write a glowing review, but alas, the service was subpar, so here we are.

Had really great stay for a short business trip and the weather was lovely. All the staff was great and polite, settled my issues. The room was elegant and fairly quiet in modern decor, I had a good rest. Its location next door to Altstadt was marvellous and unbeatable.

A good find in Cologne
The hotel's central location made exploring Cologne easy. I loved the ease of access to attractions and the friendly staff who went out of their way to assist.
The room felt quite small and a bit cramped, which can be uncomfortable if you're planning a longer stay.

We loved the location of the hotel and the room itself was excellent! The large tub in the bathroom was really relaxing after a long day of driving.

The setting is fab and marvellous, just off the main shopping streets, all the shopping places and the Cologne Cathedral, as well as Cologne Hauptbanhoff, and the centre of the city. Every time in Cologne we stay in this hotel...

The location is right in the heart of things. The room's air conditioning worked just fine, keeping things cool during an unseasonably warm spell.
There were multiple cleanliness issues. The bathroom left a lot to be desired, with reports of filth and inadequate supplies, like toiletries. Rooms were often too dark. Noise from outside could be bothersome, especially in the early mornings with trucks loading goods. Breakfast service was lacking-items weren't replenished quickly enough, leaving selections limited. The Wi-Fi connectivity was spotty at times, frustrating when you need to stay connected.

The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and friendly
We booked a business room but it was fairly basic - seemed more like economy room than business rooms shown on hotel's website.

The hotel is located in the main (pedestrian) shopping street, with the main sights at walking distance. The room was very nice, comfortable and very clean.

Perfect spot for a solo getaway!
Had a chilled three nights here. Location was fab, just 10 mins to the city center and super close to the river. The staff were super friendly and helped me find cool local spots. The AC was a lifesaver, especially in the heat! Only wished breakfast opened a bit earlier for the early risers.

The staff were very friendly and very helpful. Rooms were comfortable and very nice. Would recommend if you want to stay in Cologne. Right next to the shopping centre and 5 mins from the cathedral. If you want to go to the Christmas markets (which is why we went), then you are perfectly postioned in the centre of all 7 markets.
